About the Artist
Debra Salomon moved to New York City from Cleveland Ohio in 1976. She has lived in and maintained studios in the East Village, South Brooklyn and for the past eight years, in Greenpoint Brooklyn. Along with a lifelong art practice, she has worked as a graphic, environmental, and architectural designer. For Debra, art and design have always intermingled, coming as they both do from the urge to examine a set of ingredients and find order.
